Nicely done video, a bit concerned with the braking performance or lack of, I bought the Speed so I would not have to do any expensive upgrades, so I hope the brakes get better soon. We all know something is going on with the steering feedback, hopefully there is a fix for that too. Thanks for sharing!

Once they fix the steering feedback issue and have a solution between stock and wilwood race brakes (preferably beef up the stock ones) its going to be a solid car
Nic said he would be installing brakes soon, so I guess we will know at that point how much better. #75 said on FB that he has 220 miles on Wilwoods and still can't get them to lock up.Do we even know if the Wilwood kit is THAT much of an improvement? Will it match or outbrake the Polaris?
Don’t think you have to buy the Wildwood option, probably go with something less expensive. So a couple bucks in brakes, or 10’s of thousands in suspension components, cage, seats, belts, etc….The numbers look just about what I expected them to look like with the real bummer being the brakes. I put my deposit down primarily because of all the safety aspects of the Speed cars. The steering feedback I think will get resolved. Spending $4500 on the brake upgrade just to make it comparable with the Pro R or X3 sucks if I am being honest.

Love it.I only had a 3 point difference from the Pro R, which changes as soon as the brakes are added. I think power wise, the Speed key will be great for the dunes, and a little clutching or stage 1 tune for low end bark is relatively cheap and easy.
I hit a drop off at 72mph at Geiser Loop last night, super nasty. This is 10mph faster than my X3. The Speed is unbelieveably good in rough terrain. The strengths are very strong, but I think they will all have shortcomings, but the platform is exceptional.
Those of us that got in at the early pricing got an incredible deal: performance for the $$.

I don't disagree, but if that's all that needs upgrading, while you have to spend 10's of thousands to get either of those cars even close to the speed suspension and geometry wise, its a no brainer that the speed out the box is better. Needs some kinks worked out but lets remember this is a first year car and the other manufactures have been doing this for 20 years.I want both!All the suspension aspects that we all knew would shine AND brakes that at least measure up to the other manufacturers stock offerings. I think it's a tad difficult to tout the Speed as the safest option when the braking is suspect. There will no doubt be multiple after market options. Just wish the car didn't require one day one. If the brakes equal the other cars then the Speed wins the overall shootout. That was a 5 point difference in Nicks opinion and I tend to trust his more than most.
As to improving the brakes:
Friction material for the pads: Hopefully the aftermarket will come up with different types, or speed changing it.
Clamping force of the calipers: Smaller diameter master cylinder, or even dual small bore masters.
Disk diameter: Simply make the largest disk that will fit safely in the wheel.
