32x12x15 Paddles on 7” Wide RG Wheels

8" would be a better choice IMO.

Robby replied to my question on FB. He said “they will fit fine and look cool I run a 6” wide wheel on my TT with a 13.5 wide tire”

I feel that a wide tire on a narrow wheel yields too much sidewall slop. Also, even though the speed is already wide, a wide stance in the dunes is almost always better.
Additionally, hub-centric or not in sand will be unnoticeable. Of course, you need a wheel with a large enough hub cutout. There are very few from what I'm seeing.

These are 35x10's on a 4.5" wheel, pretty common set up. So a 12" tire on a 7" wheel is no problem

Different for sand. The best handling sand cars to ever be produced(funco gen 4, 5, 6) use a wheel as wide, or nearly as wide as the tire itself. Wide wheel=tight sidewall= the suspension has the most control over the car and when the tire is side loaded it doesn't shift and change the point of load on the suspension.

Better listen to the boss! 😉 I know I do. Well sometimes. 🤪

Happy wife..... Happy life!
For sure and when she gets involved making toy decisions the money flows much easier. Now my ultimate plan is to bait her into a turbo system for it because she hates getting drug at the dunes as much as I do. She's used to being a front runner and this car ain't that. Yet 😁

Amen brotha! I know exactly what you mean. Hell, if it wasn't for the wifey we would be a much higher master number. 🤪

It's a funny story that I will have to share with you someday over a cold one. 🍻

How do you like the sandcraft fronts?
I don't have enough time on them to form an honest opinion. It's my first UTV tire that isn't a smooth buff and that ridge on the tire is much heavier than I would ever imagined. I bought the Sandcraft tires knowing they would be heavier than anything I've had in the past and I can definitely feel it. Also installed on the lowest HP car I've ever driven in the sand and it's new to me. Sorry for the ramble but not sure how to answer that question yet.
