That would be the minimum in my opinion.8" would be a better choice IMO.
That would depend on the offset.Good idea? Will they fit?
Robby’s 14 spoke wheels have 0 offset. I’m getting his wheels to utilize the hub centric design and they are 7” wide. That would depend on the offset.
Different for sand. The best handling sand cars to ever be produced(funco gen 4, 5, 6) use a wheel as wide, or nearly as wide as the tire itself. Wide wheel=tight sidewall= the suspension has the most control over the car and when the tire is side loaded it doesn't shift and change the point of load on the suspension. These are 35x10's on a 4.5" wheel, pretty common set up. So a 12" tire on a 7" wheel is no problem
Love those wheels!!! Sexy31x12.00-15's on a 7 inch wide wheel for the XX. No problems but NOT Funco 95 inches wide 1000 HP certified! Works excellent on 1000 cc low HP no torque applications. Pretty much what we're buying.View attachment 1783
Wife's pick. I wanted the non beadlock wheels to save weight but she wanted bling and reminded me the XX was slow so it didn't matter. Lol she made a good point.Love those wheels!!! Sexy
For sure and when she gets involved making toy decisions the money flows much easier. Now my ultimate plan is to bait her into a turbo system for it because she hates getting drug at the dunes as much as I do. She's used to being a front runner and this car ain't that. YetBetter listen to the boss!I know I do. Well sometimes.
Happy wife..... Happy life!
Amen brotha! I know exactly what you mean. Hell, if it wasn't for the wifey we would be a much higher master number. For sure and when she gets involved making toy decisions the money flows much easier.
How do you like the sandcraft fronts?31x12.00-15's on a 7 inch wide wheel for the XX. No problems but NOT Funco 95 inches wide 1000 HP certified! Works excellent on 1000 cc low HP no torque applications. Pretty much what we're buying.View attachment 1783
I don't have enough time on them to form an honest opinion. It's my first UTV tire that isn't a smooth buff and that ridge on the tire is much heavier than I would ever imagined. I bought the Sandcraft tires knowing they would be heavier than anything I've had in the past and I can definitely feel it. Also installed on the lowest HP car I've ever driven in the sand and it's new to me. Sorry for the ramble but not sure how to answer that question yet.How do you like the sandcraft fronts?
The REAL saying is.......Better listen to the boss!I know I do. Well sometimes.
