Accessories that draw 100 amps

Does anyone know how many amps el diablo will be able to power? I have an accessory that draws 100 amps. Will I have to run two batteries? or when I use the accessory will it stress the electrical system and damage it?

Holy smokes what are you powering that needs 100 amps? I would say definitely yes on two batteries. I can't quote on the alt. amperage because over time I've heard Robby say different numbers but 100 amps for one accessory is a bunch.

That would depend on how many rounds you plan on firing continuously.

Well my Diablo will calling Baja home so that’s out of the question, I have a fire engine siren off an old engine I worked on and had the thought of running that rather than a horn. It’s driven by a starter motor.

I asked that question at the sandshow Daniel told me it was 103 A. Not sure if anything changed since then.

Unless you are trying to run that horn without interruption, you should not have any problems.

That's consistent with what I recall Robby saying (I think Robby said the alternator will provide 105 amps, so Daniel's 103 number sounds about right).
