I've been away from all the online stuff for a while. I really don't feel like digging through every channel of social media. Did the 12 customer cars get returned to the customers? I know the boys are at Norra now.

So the missing pallet excuse?Saw this on another forum, wonder if there is any truth to it.
Rumor mill is the new trans came in but there was a problem with them. Wrong parts, bad parts, missing parts, no one really knows. It's said a new shipment is out with the good parts and everyone is waiting for that to come in now so they can install in the first 10.
Wasn't really creative or funny the first time. Now after many repetitions it just seems you desire attention. LOLThe missing part is called CARB. LOL

Wasn't trying to be creative, when and if they get it there will be a show showing it.Wasn't really creative or funny the first time. Now after many repetitions it just seems you desire attention. LOL
i agree. i looked for the CARB cert online and have yet to find it.Wasn't trying to be creative, when and if they get it there will be a show showing it.
What do you think the hold up really is?
LMAO!If you're waiting for carb to post something online it may be awhile there still trying to figure out which gender they are
I certainly don't think its the carb cert. If it was you would see all the non CA cars flowing off the line and into customers hands. But you dont see that do you? You see issues regardless which state the car is destined for. Both Robby and Todd have stated they have it so I take their word for it. I see the hold ups as quality control issues and just plain old start-up learning curves. Ie. the difference between creating parts in house and getting that same quality when shopped out to subcontractors. Just like what we saw with the transmissions. All growing pains of starting up an assembly line with a new unproven product.Wasn't trying to be creative, when and if they get it there will be a show showing it.

I'd have to agree, Sounds about right.I certainly don't think its the carb cert. If it was you would see all the non CA cars flowing off the line and into customers hands. ...and you can post that they don't have the cert as many times as your heart desires but it doesn't make it true. I just try to apply a little common sense.

f they dont have reps in their overseas plants that's a recipe for disaster in my humble opinion. Between all my friends that have done business in China having an on board full time QA guy you trust has been the difference between success and failure. Not saying Speed doesn't. Jost hoping they do.I believe the biggest issue on quality control is that Speed doesn’t actually build nor assemble the car. Speed is nothing more than a product with a label saying “Designed in USA, made in China”.
They really, really need to hire reps to visit the factories and subcontractors to verify specs and quality standards.
