How many cars have gone out to customers now? All 10 of the first group?

Ordered 4/2/2020 and don’t expect to see mine till 2025. Yes, I’m in it for the long haul

The numbering system is still screwy, so it’s kinda hard to get a good read on when my number comes up.

My plan from the very beginning was to be in the second round of 500 El Jefe’s. I purposely waited as Speed was not able to take my deposit but put me where I wanted to be. So I waited and timed it myself. My thought was allot would be learned with 500 cars off the assembly line and a few hundred in the field, before my car arrives. Originally we had model & master #’s.

My model was 661, so that put me in the second round of 500. But my master was in the 1000. There were a little over 400 two seaters in the master number mix.

Now they ditched model numbers for only master numbers. But we know they are skipping the El Diablos which removes those 400+ cars back. So I’m thinking I’m still in the early second round of 500 cars. But then they through it 100 Bandits in the mix so??

In all honesty it’s not a big deal as I’m not going to even be thinking about the desert until Octoberish. I’d like to have the car a month earlier so I have time to do my tear down & prep. And add all my other accessories. Plus I have no intention to sell my current RZR until I feel the Speed could do a solid multi day Baja trip and be reliable.

Right now we are gearing up for the summer season with going to the river, beach camping, a few pool partys and I’m working on getting a 4wd SUV for some site seeing travel trips, like Colorado’s Durango, Silverton, Telluride, and Ouray. That’s one of my bucket list trips.

Another curve ball got tossed into delivery timeframes… the line is setup for 50% LE and 50% RG. This will further skew the numbers. Not to mention the 100 run of 2 seaters being tossed in somewhere.

I would love my car in early 2024, but I foresee those before me finding some gremlins, which will delay all production down the line. This is a good thing, as it will help build better quality.

I forgot about the RG & LE lines split. So there you go, that blurs the order & build #’s even more!
