Pro R problems @ Baja 500

Stuff breaks in Baja. So when a Geiser, JImco or Mason break...they are junk too? I have been part of clean races and have had a $10 part take the trophy truck out of the race. It happens. I can 100% guarantee you a Speed will break too. Which one, and for what reason is unknown, but Baja wins more than it loses.
I am stoked to see anyone, in any car try to give baja a run. Yes, even a Pro R.

I think the point I was trying to make was that Speed has been getting all of the blow back for having some issues during races and I just wanted a gentle reminder that they all have issues :) not that we have stuck up Polaris boys here but just wanted to post this up for any ammo needed lol

Harrison Weiss is local to me as is his hobby shop. He’s had a few UTV’s and actually had a pretty bad wreak in Glamis with his first Pro R. Two UTVs went head on!

He’s pretty new to racing himself, I’m 99% sure this was his first Baja race? He’s friends with Blake Wilkey (Shreedy dude) and tags along with him. That Pro R was pretty stock. He & Wilkey built the cage at Wilkeys shop, and I think SDG tuned the shocks, and he got product hook ups through Wilkey. But for the most part it was stock.

Like PunchDrunk said, Baja wins most of the time and they were in it for a finish which did not happen. I would not base his results on the quality of the Pro R. They all have their weaknesses, and Harrison found a bunch. And we have not seen great success out of Speed in Baja yet either.

Weiss/Wilkey also didn’t prerun any, showed up the day before contingency.

And how many years have Speed UTVs been racing in Baja?

I'm sorry to be the one to say this as I don't think it will go over well.

A huge reason a lot, obviously not all, talk shit about the Speed cars and soon to be owners is a lot of said owners ( as well as manufacturers) talk just as much if not more shit about the other manufacturers and owners and we do not even have our cars in possession yet. In other words, a lot of the vitriol is self inflicted.

Let the flaming begin. :)

If a dog bits a dog, the bitten dog either runs or bits back. We bit back.
And we have bigger teeth; jmpo
