For those that chose to finance that are picking up this weekend or soon, it would be informative to know if you went with Speed's freedom road or were able to find another CU willing to finance, and the term and interest rate you were able to get.
Please don't turn this into a lecture on cash vs financing!

Excellent thread subject! Many of us probably recall the vid Todd did maybe a year ago or so when he presented a chart showing Freedom Road’s tiers (based on credit rating), term lengths, and interest rates. I would imagine those numbers no longer apply. I haven’t seen any kind of updated chart since then.

Hence my curiosity. But I'm sure my return rate on my current investments don't justify pulling cash from them unless finance rates are over 10-12%, which I highly doubt.
If anyone is interested, I just now checked LA Financial Credit Union's rates for new off-road vehicle loans. They have a 4 or 5 year term at 7.49%.

Here's the link to their webpage that has the rates...

Please note that the 7.49% is their "discounted" rate (their non-discounted rate is 7.74%). All ya gotta do to get the discounted rate is to open a savings account with them and have them automatically debit that account for the monthly loan payment. I did that recently for a new truck that I bought. It was a piece of cake to get the loan through them and set up the automatic withdrawals. And since they have a branch here in Havasu (which is where I live), it was quite convenient for me.

10-12 percent on a toy today would be pretty low IMO.
Hopefully someone will post there rate.

I'm just wondering if other financing will be available for an sxs from a company that is so new.

Yes, credfit unions are pretty good, United Federal is very similar rates, depending on your credit rating and months financed.

Keep in mind this was handled back in February but freedom road was ~7 or 8% and I used them initially and then refinanced right after with Gloabl Credit Union (was Alaska Federal for years) which has branches up in Victorville. I eneded up with a ~6% with them but had 4% locked up 6 months earlier 😭 I think their rates now are ~7%, you can look them up on their site.

If you’re active duty military and will be on active status for the term of the loan, send me a private message. Not looking to say more than that on the public board.

If Admins/moderators think it’s to cryptic and fishy, PM me and I will let you know about why.

Now that some 65+ customers have their Speed, there surely should be customers that financed and used other than freedom road that can share their terms?

If either of you could follow directions or read, it clearly said send me a PM. This something I only want to share with military, like myself, and not Joe public.
i replied back to your post to PM me the info. But forget it.

Further explains my point… I asked YOU to PM me. It’s the principle things in life…. It wasn’t a scam where I ask for socials or junk like that, but rather special financing through a legitimate bank with military rates.

I didn’t want to blast the bank, because if everyone and their cousin finds out, they may stop doing it.

This isn't cryptic or fishy at all. Anytime active military personnel are offered special deals, I'm 100% in support of it because of what those brave folks do for us. 👊 Sharing that loan info in this forum is absolutely fine. Besides, it's in reference to making it easier for some folks to acquire a Speed car. That is perfectly germane subject matter in a Speed UTV forum! 😎

And I respect Demlock's concern of not wanting the bank to get overly bombarded which might cause them to discontinue that special deal.

Kudos to Demlock for his willingness to share this info for those who serve! (y)

I'm not military. I'm trying to find out if other credit unions or banks are providing loans for Speed cars specifically, and their rate and terms.
