With RG now breaking ground on the Havasu restaurant, and assuming he will have a grand opening, would you go?
 
By the time my car is done the shop should be pretty much built by then so it will be cool to pick it up there.

Unless there is some kind of riding tied to it I wouldn't make a special trip just for the grand opening.

I'm retired... even so I'm in Oregon, what ells could be more important at that moment...?
I have enough points with Marriott, I could live there for a month or two (or 3 or 4...)

I'm actually a damn good mechanic/machinist... just not one of the fastest anymore, but still good in teaching and directing.
 
In Yuma so it’s not too far, for sure pick up there, but would at least go once a year. More if theirs some group rides set up.
 
Here is a great video from Desert SXS when they visited the Speed store in Havasu. They go over the customer cars along with some of the WC XX then cover the new speed restaurant/bar.

 
Good information, master number 340 will arrive in May or June. I’m happy for them but worried those of us in the low 3000 won’t see our this summer.

I was hoping I wouldn’t need to pick up something to hold me over but I really want to be riding something this summer. I want it done right and I know that’s what they are doing but it still hurts just a little.

The water is visible. London bridge is about 5 minutes away as well as Windsor boat launch. I was hitting sand dunes in about 8 minutes after leaving his location.

Since I live here in Havasu year-round, I will most definitely go to the grand opening of the store. Robby told me that the bar & grill will include a sushi bar. I'm in!!! (y):cool:

I worked in Japan a number of times, not going to eat it.

That is funny... but...
Sushi, by itself, has nothing to do with fish.
it is rice prepared with vinegar and other spices, that's all. (normal boiled rice is like glue)
It is the stuff that is being added, and seeing it prepared street site, turned me off to it.
