Cheers fellow Speed amigo's, I am trying to find the Speed wheel center bore diameter? I clearly remember Robbie mentioning it, in one of the weekly live streams...but cant seem to find it... I am reviewing, but if someone knows, the info would be greatly appreciated.

Speed uses KMC wheels for their sand tires. So, the only information source would be speed or KMC for that information.
Also, you need the information for the filled relive so the wheel will seat properly.
I have some wheels in standby that will need to be sleeved to fit properly. (I have the machinery to do this myself)

I was told by KMC that the cage wheel speed is selling is the same cage wheel offered on KMC’s website. They told me at the time that the wheel
Is not being special built for speed, so if the source was correct, several wheels should fit without hub bore modification. Time will tell of this is true?

Any Polaris wheel will fit, but not many will be hub centric.
I have a couple sets of DWT wheels from my X3, I got new centers from DWT for the Polaris bolt pattern, but the center bore is to large fur hub centric fitment.
After I get my Diablo, I will make some shrink fit rings to make them fit properly.

I went with KMC after I talked to the rep. If he was correct my bore will be perfect and the same speed is selling.

I would wait till actual production parts are out to measure and get precise measurements. Of course if your making something that does not require tight tolerances then that's a different story.

Thanks all for the reply... just wanted to see if any of the wheels, I already have would work....before I do a spring clean in the garage, and get rid of past parts and pieces just taking up space...lol
Guess I will wait for delivery, to make an accurate wheel comparison..

I actually asked Connor Gabrielson at the sand sports show about hub diameter and he straight up wouldn't tell me. So I did my own macgyver measuring since I didn't have a tape measure. I then went home and zoomed until the credit card was the right size and then measured the hub.
I get 118mm or 4.65". I know for sure Sdi wheels won't work. I think Douglas spun aluminum wheels have this size cutout. I hope they do because I plan to use them for my sand tires.
Fyi, credit card is 54mm wide if you want to do your own measure.

I did a little more research, the KMC Cage 15x10, 4/156, BS-5.50, off-0mm, has bore size of 132.00
It goes without saying that may or may not, be the exact bore diameter of the SPEED wheel, but it must be close because it is sold on the speed website....
and therefore work without any problems on the speed hub.

Can't be right. Bolt pattern is 4x156 with 12mm studs. That leaves a gap between the edge of the threads across from each other of 142mm. 5.625" is 142.875mm. I'd buy 4.625". In the pic I posted above there is no way I could be off by a full inch, but I could see being off by .025".

That was my data he posted I told him go ahead and do it because I was busy. I could be wrong I took the measurement for the wheel center opening myself. Everything else came from Daniel their lead engineer. I also tried to figure out the group size or size of the battery but no one would tell me.

The wheel bolt pattern is 4/156.
That makes the bolt circle just over 6 1/8"; a center bore of the wheels of 5 5/8" would just about interfere with the wheel studs.
I had a picture just like yours but with an actual tape measure the only thing is I don’t know what I did with it. It’s not on my phone. Soon enough we will know these things including the battery size I wanted to know since I have a brand new Odyssey battery sitting here. I was going to put in my other buggy. But hope it fits in the new speed Diablo.

There will likely be a minimum of 2000 guys getting their El Jefes before I get my Diablo.
So, I hope that one of them is a machinist with proper tool to take an accurate measurement so I can start machining...
As to batteries, I hope that my EarthX ETX900, that is presently in my X3, will fit.

What offset are the wheels you have? I know Robby mentioned that was also an important component with the geometry of the suspension.... at least that's the way I understood it.

This is for my sand tires; I will have a w-i-d-e stance.
I would have to look up the offsets, but I checked some time ago and I will have adequate clearance.

I remember RG saying that his new wheels will fit on the Wildcat XX. So I just went out and checked my XX wheel and the hole is 120mm or 4.7”. So there’s that. 🤣
