I was thinking the same exact thing. However, the way he was with Max and others around it, I can see why they went to extra lengths to protect it. I do believe it was a one-off and in a container though.

I am guessing since its the one and only and they needed it for the show they took extra care. Also sounds like they have to be carefully with the prototype plastic.
There 'can be' (is) only one... for now...

Back in the day I worked out of the country and we were allowed to bring “engineering“ or prototypes duty free into the U.S. Or maybe it was expedited through customs.

Most likely answer was in Robby's comment about the fragile plastics.
All production cars are assembled in, and shipped from Vietnam.
The No.1 Diablo was build in China.
You are correct and it was done with a 3d printer, maybe why it is fragile?

Not going to lie, I am starting to get worried. I was expecting shipments of 70-100 every week for the past 3-4 weeks. Feels like we got the big shipment for SSSS but no steady steam of cars since. If we can't get a constant stream of weekly cars I don't think we can hit our 1000 goal. Getting cars in "batches" isn't going to cut it.
