Hey SPEED Nation! SSSS 2023 is only a month away, so I thought I would start a thread so we could start discussing all things SSSS. Like events. Who's going? What you think we might see there? What you would like to see there? Anyone besides @c_knippelberg picking their car up from there? Any rumors & so on. You get the idea.

Sounds like they are going to have slotted time options where the Speed staff goes over the cars with the people who are taking delivery rather than one by one. They are still working on the final details.

They're going to have to have some sort of mobile offices to finalize payments or financing in some kind of privacy. Somewhere to store customer cars where imbeciles can't climb all over them. An extra lot for parking trucks and trailers. Not saying it can't be done but they're going to have their hands full with that on top of everything else the Speed zone has going on at the show. Should be a good show this year. Hopefully there will be some good info on proper paddles for the El Jefe by then. There are always a lot of great show deals on paddles.

Just me and my wife, my buddy invited us to tag along to see the process of picking up his El Jefe so we can post it on the forum.

I, like you have been to SSSS in anticipation of the release of the cars and gather as much info as I can awaiting ours. I feel it will be a waste of time this year as there is no way ours will be here by that time and it’s looking bleak for even this year. Hopefully they do get 100 a week starting in September but, actions speak louder then words.

I’ll be there Friday and Saturday not sure how long on Saturday but I certainly hope they have a Diablo there to at least look at. He said he was gonna have one there I would love to see one off of the assembly line and from China or Vietnam not only the hand built ones that have been there for the years past

Seeing that pic of the Speedway track brings back memories of going there with my friends in the late 70's to watch Mike Bast, Bruce Penhall, Billy Gray, Mike Faria, and Ermolenko battle it out on their Speedway bikes.

Best deals for sure but not knowing which will work best? Im gonna have to pass this year and most likely just stick to OEM tires aired down if my car shows up. Im expecting it at the end of the season anyways. TIred of hoping. Now if the new X3 is going to be there with known sales dates, I will probably go and see it.

My wife and I will be going (Master 433) along with my parents (Master 1000+) on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing some of the accessories (winch kit, skids) in person and free snacks/beers.

Hoping to get a good deal on some parts like chupacabra side mirrors, rear view mirror, baja designs XL 80 lights and rear light bar, buggy whips, and maybe a set of tensor paddles. Interested in the PCI Trax Radio Package and some helmets as well.

I won't be buying paddles this year myself due to my master number. With the delivery dates given last year I got all gungho and bought a set of the 35's at the show that have just been sitting in storage ever since. Fool me once..

Sh*t I am right there with you. These 35's are already a year old sitting awaiting my El Jefe arrival.

I have not heard Speed announcing free food and beer like they did last few shows. I admit the cool aid drinkers like me were all lined up just to get our personalized pass was impressive. Just to get beer and food?? I didnt even get any of that!!!! My sons were laughing at me for getting into all the hype....They still laugh at me today cause no car yet. LMAO no more cool aid for me.

Robby announced there will be free beer and "food" this year as it was in the years past. Get there early! I was the first in line for the beer last year. Lol
