Turn Signals & Horn...😁

@DV8TED Is the screenshot taken from one of the new cars that just got delivered in Havasu? That would be nice if they came with turn signals, I thought Robby said in an early video they would not do it because of liability issues but I could be remembering that wrong.

I hope they do - they already have hazards so turn signals would be pretty trivial at that point

Yes, it was from an Instagram that Max Gordon posted of the newly delivered cars. I had to replay it several times to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me, lol. I'll see if I can post it here.

Here's the link to the Instagram video that Mad Max Gordon posted that showed some of the interior of the new customer cars in Havasu. It's at the beginning, so don't blink or you'll miss it, lol. Had to watch it numerous times to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me. Sure hope it comes this way from the factory. We ride a lot of public roads to get to/from the riding areas as well as to connect riding areas together on longer trips. We are kind of spoiled in Idaho.

Looks like we get turn signals and a horn if we have the digital bundle and pick up in Havasu. See @pyrocoyote1 post below.

This will really bum me out if they don't do this for all of the early buyers that also opted for the digital bundle. While I think it should be unnecessary, I'd even be willing to pay for the additional switches for this to completed from the factory. While I can install on my own, I'd just prefer it to be competed by the factory.

You are remembering correctly, but in a later video Todd showed a car with a turn signal on and (if I remember right) he called it a "one way emergency flasher" or something like that with a slight grin on his face. I'm excited they found a way to include turn signals - even though you need the digital package to get them. I guess I feel a little better about spending the $$$$ for that package - I struggled with justifying the cost of it.

I'm not even sure a person would truly need the Digital Package for the turn signals. Perhaps it's needed to interact through the dash...? Either way, still excited to see cars get into customer hands and to get some public feedback!!

I am so on the fence on the digital package.

I am picking up in Havasu but live in CA but can plate it in AZ. I originally had the digital package but took it off. Now I have the option to put it back on.

Decisions decisions.

I totally understand as the Bundle isn't cheap. I added it as the long term benefits outweigh the cost for me.

My deal is, as im not racing I dont care much for the belt sensor. Never had one before. Dont really care about the cameras, as ive never had them before and probably wouldn't use them. Wont use the TPMS because I don't trust them.

I simply want the turn signals for the plate. Which Im not even sure I actually need to get the plate.

Someone earlier said that Todd mentioned that while they might not be offering that option from the factory, it should be very simple to do. They made it sound like you'd need to add switches and perhaps a small wiring adapter to make it work. Hopefully someone can shed more light on that option.

All early buyers included. BUT, It will only be done if picked up in Havasu.

Yeah I totally agree. I wonder if they are saying the turn signals are part of the Digital Package to add more value in it.... just my thought. I'm so excited to see video of these cars from car owners in real world situations. Not that the videos from Speed haven't been "real world", but the way he drives, I think Robby can make anything look good.....;) I'm super excited to see the cars in the dunes on 91 and on E85 - it won't be long now!

Horn is separate.
Maybe that should be a question that someone can clarify with Speed this weekend? The link posted doesn’t mention a horn but, in this last presentation #107 (~10 min mark) he mentions a horn will also be included for those that pick up their cars in Havasu.

The latest info is, if you ordered the digital bundle and you take delivery at the Havasu shop, they will include fully operational turn signals and a horn installed, at no extra cost. I got that info from Todd at last night's event here in Havasu. (y)

👏👏👏

Figured as much. When the chupacarba guys dad got in his car he accidentally hit a button and the horn went beeped.
