Hey Doc
I toyed with the idea of using a NACA scoop, I remember months ago i posted it on the forum not knowing what they were called, I believe I called it a inverted scoop. when you install the NACA scoop ,could you send me a picture.

I'll be posting it for sure.
I am wondering the price on your 3 D printed fan , Daniel G stopped by the house today and he was telling me that he recently picked up one of your 3 D printed fans, I forgot to ask him about the price and the shipping, I guess I can call him and ask him, But I am on the site and figured i would ask you.

Sorry, I replied on Tuesday, but forgot to press the post button, or something like that...?
I used aluminum foil backed stick-on automotive foam insulation (around 10-12mm?) and covered it with aluminum foil backed thermal fiberglass tape I got on Amazon.
Just learned that I exceeded the max amount for a post...

I also have the Vent rear window and sealed up under the radiator, all to prevent recirculating hot air.
All in all, it worked well at the St Anthony dunes at around 90* air temp at a 5k' level.
In my final setup I will not be using your air scoop, but a NACA duct in the side of the car. (your scoop helped with finding out what will work, Thanks)

I was riding with James (a moderator (and good guy) here) He has the Vent shroud and rear window; my intake temps where consistently lower compared to his.
Thank again for your help,
Arno
